聖多瑪斯著《駁異大全》，共分四卷，《論真原》、《論萬物》、《論萬事》和《論奧理》。　《論奧理》全卷主要分為三大段：第一段論天主，專討論超越人性理智而人應聽信的奧理──公教信仰所宣揚的「天主三位一體」。第二段論天主所作成的、超越人理智的事蹟，例如「天主聖子，降生成人」，及與此隨之而俱來在《聖經》記載的事實。第三段：論人生最後目的，也是專論與此有關、超越人性理智的一些奧理。
